Summer is almost over and twins Mary and Matthew will start their last year of high school soon. On a walk with their adopted dad through the ancient rainforest surrounding their house, they discover a magical ship that their father claims belonged to their great-grandfather, Captain Winkie. Before they can question a ship in the forest, the three are whisked away across the globe, exploring wonders of Egypt, Australia, Japan, Greece, Ireland and India... all while trying to unlock the secret of Captain Winkie’s Compass.
